Mission Statement
To promote leadership, mentoring, networking, stewardship and collaboration to support the global education needs of burn care at every level regardless of socioeconomic limitations. We strive to support the overall vision and sustainability of the International Society for Burn Injuries (ISBI) and provide its members and educators a means for successful translation of knowledge across all languages and continents to elevate overall burn survivability and rehabilitation outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Promote burn care education and implement strategies for global education
- Develop and implement programs and activities which will provide members with the opportunity to achieve the level of knowledge and skill necessary for the optimal management burn injuries
- Provide guidance and support to burn care providers of all levels to achieve success and sustainability regardless of environment
- Maintain a resource hub for education and enrichment for knowledge and practical skill building
